What is the Beaver Den?

The Beaver Den is a service in Beaverton High School, located in Room 162, that provides free food, clothing, personal items and school supplies to students and families in need. With the help of generous donations, we are able to run the Beaver Den: a no-judgement, completely confidential room where families who need a little help can get basic necessities for free.

  • Lightly worn/new clothes & shoes

  • New socks and underwear

  • Non-perishable foods

  • Toiletries (full-sized preferable)

  • School supplies

  • Blankets

  • Toilet Paper

  • Unused makeup items

Items may be dropped off in the main office or counseling office, and addressed to the Beaver Den.

Projects in the Works:

How does Club Hope help?

Every Wednesday from 1:00-2:30, Club Hope members volunteer in the Beaver Den. We put away all donated items in an organized fashion. Recently, we have been working with many community members and alumni to get input on how we can improve the appearance and purpose of the Beaver Den.

- With the help of Anya & Brian Berg, we are able to install brand new custom cabinets in the Beaver Den.

- We are also going to paint the walls in the Beaver Den and eventually have murals painted on them.

- We are working to get more storage containers to effectively store all of the items provided in the Beaver Den.
